Not a problem.  The payment system will automatically convert currencies upon checkout.

What is the difference between the core course (regular membership) and the premium membership?

With a premium membership you get access to instructor feedback. You can learn more about premium memberships here.

Who is this watercolor course designed for?

The course is designed for all levels of watercolor painters; from someone who has never even purchased a watercolor supply all the way to an advanced watercolor artist.  It is designed with representational painters in mind, as opposed to abstract or heavily stylized painters.  It is designed for those who are serious about learning to paint with watercolor; those who are looking to really learn, in depth, about creating fine art with watercolor.

Who is this watercolor course not designed for?

While we like to think that the courses here suit almost all learners of watercolor, we have to be realistic.  This course is not for those interested in painting abstract art in watercolor.  For those interested in a VERY impressionistic or stylized watercolor art (verging on non representational), this course would be valuable, but perhaps not the best first choice for those styles of painting.  For those that are interested in using watercolor from a crafting perspective, or from a decorative perspective, this course would be valuable, but probably too in-depth and way too "fine-art-focused" for those objectives.

How are the watercolor lessons distributed?

When you sign up for the core course, you get instant access to every single lesson in every  module. It is an all-in-one package.  You can watch any lesson in any module whenever you want, as many times as you want.  You will retain access to all these lessons as long as your membership is active.

Can I cancel my subscription whenever I choose?

Absolutely! Cancelling is as simple as a couple of clicks; no questions asked, no annoying pleas to get you to stay.   When you cancel your membership, you will still have access to your subscription until the end of your current billing cycle.  Please note: Cancelled plans are not refunded or pro-rated.  You may use your subscription until the end of your billing cycle, but you will not received any refund.

Can I download the lessons?

Due to copyright protections, the videos cannot be downloaded.  However, as long as you have an active membership, you can stream any video anytime you want.

What if I can't draw very well?

Not a problem!  You don't need to know how to draw at all.  Drawings are provided for every lesson in which they are needed.  Simply use the free method taught in the course to transfer the drawing to your watercolor paper.

What if I don't have any supplies?

When you sign up for the Free Sample Pack, or the core watercolor course, the supply list will be provided, along with suggestions on where to purchase those supplies.  In addition, the Supplies and Best Practices Module (included with every paid membership) covers in great detail everything you need to know about what supplies to choose and why to choose them.

What subjects are painted in the watercolor course?

The course covers a wide variety of subjects including landscapes, florals, buildings, animals, portraits and more.  There is a heavier focus on landscapes simply because they are better for learning a wider variety of concepts and techniques.  You can click on the menu link "About the Core Course" at the top any page to learn more about the lessons in each module.  In addition, the montages included in the Free Sample Pack showcase most of the paintings done in the course.

How long are the watercolor lessons?

The length of lessons vary depending upon complexity.  Shorter lessons are often covered in one video.  Longer lesson are broken up into parts with multiple videos.  For example, a lesson from the beginner module may be one video that is 15 minutes long.  A more complex lesson from the advanced module may be 10 videos that are 30 minutes each.  In all cases there are many many opportunities for the student to take a break and come back whenever they choose.  Watercolor is nice in that you can pause and come back to a painting almost whenever you wish.

How long does it take to complete the watercolor course?

This is almost impossible to answer since everyone learns at their own pace, and the course is completely self-paced.  The only general guideline we can provide is that most people finish the entire course within a year. Some finish much quicker and some finish much slower.  It all depends on how much time and practice you want to put into it, and how quickly you want to move forward from one lesson to the next.

How do I cancel my plan?

In the row that says "Community", you will see your current plan listed. Or you will see "Subscriptions". Click on "Edit" and then on the next page click "Cancel Plan".
